With Lindner to (Apprenticeship) Success

Good news for the Lindner Group: The family-owned company from Lower Bavaria can count itself among Germany's best trainers in 2023. But what the study by the business magazine Capital in cooperation with the talent platform Ausbildung.de now confirms has long been firmly anchored in Lindner's DNA.

Year after year, Lindner apprentices impress with their dedication, passion and outstanding achievements. As Germany's best apprentices in the professions of dry construction and industrial clerk, Bavaria's best apprentices in metal construction and numerous Bavarian state prize winners, the graduates once again top the rankings in the final examinations for winter 2022/23 and summer 2023. The young talents once again confirm the motto of company founder Hans Lindner: "Success consists of ability, diligence and luck".

Germany's Best Trainers 2023

Not only the graduates themselves, but also the Lindner Group have reason to be pleased: out of a total of 567 companies, Lindner received the best rating of five out of five stars in the Capital study in the area of training and dual studies – thanks to its own training centre, a partnership-based support from experienced trainers and great benefits. This makes the construction company one of the top trainers in southern Germany. Companies were assessed in the categories of 'support and involvement of trainees', 'learning on the job', 'strategies and budget for training marketing', 'technical skills' and 'trainees' chances of success'.

The Best of the Best

The effect this has on training at Lindner is reflected not only in the satisfaction of the trainees, but also in their achievements. No fewer than 15 former Lindner apprentices have been honoured in recent months for their outstanding achievements at school – and in a wide range of training professions. Eleven of them were awarded the Bavarian State Prize by the Government of Lower Bavaria for achieving a grade average of at least 1.5 in their final exams, including Sophie (metalworker), Erik, Seline, Jonas (technical systems planner), Andreas (IT specialist for systems integration), Christina, Angelina, Julia, Maria, Janina, Paulina, Annalena and Christian (industrial clerks). And that's not all: Paulina, Christina, Maria, Julia and Angelina are also among the best industrial clerks in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate. Maria was also honoured for her outstanding results in the Chamber's final examination in Berlin in December – and can therefore call herself Germany's best industrial clerk in 2023.

High Achievers in the Trades

However, it is not only in the commercial sector that the former apprentices show ambition and passion, but also in the skilled trades – at regional and even national level. Philipp, for example, the best drywall installer of the year at the Pfarrkirchen vocational school centre, is part of the company family. Daniel can also call himself Bavaria's best and, since May 2023, Germany's best dry construction apprentice of 2022. Furthermore, Daniel, a butcher apprentice at the Lindner subsidiary Land.Luft Leberfing, passed the butchers' apprenticeship examination as the best. The fact that the trade is not a purely male domain is demonstrated by graduate Sophie, who won a regional competition as the best metalworker in the Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate region. This qualified Sophie for the German Championships in November, where she will be able to demonstrate her metalworking skills.

Turning a Profession into a Hobby

Veronika Lindner is convinced that "[...] the young people will take the company forward". The very good school-leaving qualifications are now the best starting point for the young people's further professional development - and this will continue to take place in Arnstorf: Fortunately, all trainees will remain with the family business. This means that Lindner is once again relying on young talent from its own ranks!
