Facings

Staircases, platforms, etc. need to be finished with a front cladding (facing). Where features such as free-standing borders are required, the top edges of the facing will be protected with a stair edging profile. Angles screwed to the subfloor and bracing installed in the upper area of the facing ensure a stable structure.

Expansion joints

In order to take up horizontal and vertical movements in a structural and inconspicuous manner, expansion joint profiles are used in the area of the hollow floor, adapted to the application.

Electrical outlets

As all electrical installations are laid under the hollow floor, electrical connections can be placed exactly where you want them by the insallation of electrical outlets.

Cavity barriers

Three different types of cavity barriers can be possible to meet the different requirements in the hollow floor area.

Ventilation barriers made from coated chipboard panels
Fire protecion barriers made from solid gypsum wall blocks (min. 80 mm)
Sound protection barriers made from foam mortar (min. 100 mm)

Air ventilation outlets

Air ventilation outlets allow the room to be air-conditioned and ventilated without creating draughts.

Various systems are available:

open system
Ventilation takes place directly in the cavity for installations, which is designed as a pressure floor, through the corresponding air ventilation outlets or rather through the hexagonal ventilation outlets into the room.
closed system
In a closed system, the air is fed through a pipe system or through cavity barriers with fixed connections to the air ventilation outlets.

Bridging profiles

Individual structural conditions in some areas may require bridging in sections without pedestals.
That is why we supply special bridging profiles. These are easy to install and enable the transfer of dynamic and static loads.

Reinforcement profiles

Standard Lindner floor systems already exhibit high load-bearing capacities. Should these still not be sufficient, the system can be upgraded by reinforcement profiles. Various options are possible, from the lightest stringer which increases lateral rigidity through to a C-profile.

Product description

The NORTEC aurum floor panels are made from calcium sulphate and are classified as non-combustible. We have a direct influence on the selection of raw materials for our in-house production facility: the use of pre- and post-consumer waste paper means for instance that almost all NORTEC panels are FSC^® certified. The Institut für Baubiologie in Rosenheim (IBR, Institute for Biologically Sound Construction) also recommends NORTEC as harmless in terms of building biology.

Its convincing ecological and technical properties enable the system to be processed "from the cradle to the cradle".
As the world's first system floor, NORTEC aurum is Cradle to Cradle Certified^® Gold. This flooring system can even be manufactured as carbon-neutral on request. The diverse combination options between NORTEC aurum and other systems ensure a high degree of versatility.
