Bringing the TUI brand to life for employees and guests from all over the world – that is the aim of the Hanover-based tourism company's new headquarters. The company's previous headquarters were completely redesigned for this purpose. Numerous Lindner products, such as partitions, raised floors and room-in-room systems, were used.

Agile Working Environments Make it Possible

The TUI Campus now brings together around 2,800 employees from eight group companies who were previously spread across three locations in Hanover. The new headquarters symbolises TUI's flexible and open working culture: The office space allows for hybrid forms of work and flexible working time models. Due to the trend towards working from home, the tourism group now needs considerably less office space than before.

Transparent and Open, but still Private

In order to implement this concept, the existing company building has been converted by almost 40 per cent over the past two years – instead of small offices, there are now open office worlds with flexible workstations and meeting rooms. The Lindner Group also played a key role in the implementation of this concept. For example, Lindner room-in-room systems are used in the TUI Campus: The cubes reflect the agile New Work concept and can react flexibly to changing room structures. At the same time, the systems create a pleasant atmosphere for undisturbed discussions and concentrated work at TUI headquarters. Dry walls, door elements and Lindner Life 125 stereo glazing provide further separation in the open-plan areas.

More Than Just Design

In addition to various wall and door systems, the TUI campus today also features around 11,000 m2 of Lindner ceiling systems and almost 1,000 m2 of perforated ceilings. Thanks to their perforation, the latter minimise background noise and thus enable concentrated work in the office areas. The room acoustics are further enhanced by the acoustically effective FLOOR and more® hollow floor systems. These are also non-combustible, ensuring safety in the event of a fire. Together with I-30 fire protection ducts and F30 glass partitions, they complete the fire protection concept in the new headquarters.
